Baccarat scoreboards: what the coloured roads actually record

· English

Two red symbols on the same baccarat screen can mean different things. One may record a Banker win; another may describe a pattern in earlier results. Before interpreting either, check the name of the chart above it.

Evolution distinguishes the Bead Road and Big Road, which record outcomes, from three derived charts: Big Eye Road, Small Road and Cockroach Road. Those charts reorganise information from the Big Road. They are not five separate sets of game results. Provider description.

Start with the chart label

The following details describe the interface in Loto-Québec’s published baccarat help document, pages 7–9. They are an example, not a universal legend for every Philippine game.

The document also describes a road-probing feature: it previews the symbol that would be added if Banker or Player wins next. That is a conditional display, not a result that has already happened.

A simple reading check

Imagine a note containing three completed results: Banker, Player, Tie. Those are three observations. Drawing them as coloured cells changes their presentation; it does not add a fourth observation.

Now imagine seeing an extra red symbol in a different panel. You cannot identify what it represents from its colour alone. First ask: is this the outcome chart, a derived chart, or a preview? This small distinction prevents you from treating every mark as another completed hand.

This is an invented reading exercise, not a screenshot or record of actual play. It makes no claim about the next result or a profitable pattern.

Keep the scoreboard and the rulebook separate

A history display and a payout rule answer different questions. For an example of a settlement question, see why a Banker 6 can pay half in some no-commission variants. Our table-game comparison guide explains how to keep the exact variant and its rules together.

If a symbol remains unclear, use the help section for that exact interface. A familiar colour is not enough to resolve an unfamiliar label.
